    #236 - Bryan Clayton’s Team Grows Over $30M w/o Outside $$$

Do you want the secret on how to run a successful business?
In this episode, Bryan Clayton, CEO & Founder of GreenPal shares how he was able to grow his company profitably without any external capital.  He explains what he’s learned from his failures and successes over the past 10 years.
Why not grow organically?  It’s cheaper and can be faster.  Bryan provides insights into how he used AI technology to create and deliver value to GreenPal consumers.
Bryan also believes one major contributing factor to his success was developing and growing through an org chart.  Maybe leaders never seriously consider an org chart and how it can drive an organization.
GreenPal, known as "Uber for lawn care" is entirely self-funded, a rare accomplishment in the startup world.  They have grown rapidly and now serve over 200,000 active users, completing thousands of transactions per day.  The company has been profitable since its first year of operation.  Annual revenue now exceeds $30 million.
Are you doing $30 million after 10 years in business without giving away part of your company to outside investors?
If not, or even if you’re doing that well, join us to hear part of Bryan’s story.  There’s something here that can help you grow your organization.

Working Myself Out of a Job

This episode with Danielle Mulvey intrigued me. While I love what I do and owning my business is A - the thought of being able to wake up in the morning with no concerns that things are running smoothly is a huge plus!

She’s right when she said you can pay 2 average employees the same amount each year or hire and pay one - what she called - 5-star employee to do the job of the two average employee and cut my payroll expenses in half. Then I know the job is being done the way I want and need it to be done.

I have done some research on LinkedIn and found Danielle’s program on how to recruit and hire the top candidates in my industry. This is a game changer for our business!

Great Advice from guest Danielle Mulvey!

Danielle shared some great tips here for any entrepreneur. A big dream for entrepreneurs is to find employees that go all in. She’s absolutely right. I think of my own business and how much more successful it could be if I had a team of all 5-Star Employees.

Great guest David! Keep it up

Great tips for business owners!

In episode 154, David brings on Danielle Mulvey who gives a LOT of awesome hiring advice! One insight that stuck with me was her idea that preserving or not getting rid of toxic employees will eventually lead the BEST employees of that business out the door— this is a blunt truth that many need to hear, especially business owners looking to scale their business.
